The staff at Colucci Funeral Home understands that every family has unique needs and would like to arrange a service that reflects their loved one’s life in a meaningful way. A traditional service is an evening of visitation with the funeral service following the next morning at church, synagogue, mosque or at the funeral home.
We also understand that families may want to have a simple service with a few family and friends gathering at a family or friends home, at the ocean or a favorite location that the decedent enjoyed during their life. Families and friends may also want a service at their favorite restaurant with the urn present followed by a luncheon or dinner in honor of the decedent.
Families may want to use a special vehicle to transport the decedent’s body to their local cemetery by horse drawn funeral coach, motorcycle and trailer or a fire truck. Families may want to display photographs, hang pictures or paintings throughout the funeral home or bring in items that reflect a hobby or special interest of the decedent. Families can bring in special items to be placed in the casket with their loved one. We are dedicated to helping families to grieve their loss in a way that reflects their loved one’s life. |
